Changes in 4.04

  1. (FL) In version 4.03, if FLCUST was used to set the "gone" string to blanks, a protection violation occurred when that profile was used with FL. This has been corrected.

Changes in 4.05

  1. (FL) In version 4.03, changes to the handling of the command stack resulted in the "=" command ignoring commands entered via function keys. This has been corrected.

  2. (FL) In version 4.03, FL would not abbreviate an overlong filespec to less than adjacent backslash characters; if the filespec was still too long, FL diagnosed an internal error and terminated execution. In 4.05, FL truncates the abbreviated filespec, suffixing the filespec with the "+" character to indicate omitted characters.

  3. (FL) In version 4.03, if the #EP command was used to change the file case settings, the list was not redisplayed using the new settings – the old settings were used until the list was refreshed using the #R command, or a new list generated. This has been corrected for all filecase settings other than ASIS; the nature of the implementation means that if you change the settings to ASIS, there will be no change in the display until the list is refreshed.

Changes in 4.06

  1. (FL) In version 4.03, if the #T command was typed on a command line, the command was not blanked, and continued to be executed every time that the execute key was pressed. Inspection of the code showed that the rationalisation of the command-stack handling was incomplete, and that other FL commands were not processed as intended. This has been corrected.
